Meet Olivia

Olivia Murphy is a writer and mother from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Inspired by the wonderfully different personalities of her daughters, Amelia and Maggie, she created Magpie & Lovebird as a love letter to them and to the small moments of childhood that turn out to mean the most.

She shares her nest with her husband, Richard, their two daughters and a lively collection of much-loved animals.
